Welcome to SharonMcCall.com. These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using this website and purchasing or participating in offerings from Sharon McCall, including SPOTLIGHT Online Vendor Events, The SPOTLIGHT Circle, educational resources, digital tools, and physical products.
By using our website, registering for an event, purchasing a product, or enrolling in a membership, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact [email protected] before purchasing.
1. Website and educational content
Our website, trainings, downloads, planning materials, and other educational resources are intended to help business owners develop their skills. They are not guarantees of sales, income, growth, or specific business results. Your results depend on many factors, including your own actions, products, audience, and circumstances.
You may use purchased or freely provided resources for your own personal or business learning, subject to any product-specific license. Unless we expressly authorize it, you may not resell, distribute, reproduce, or share paid resources, member-only materials, or access credentials.
2. SPOTLIGHT Online Vendor Events
SPOTLIGHT Events are hosted online promotional opportunities for participating businesses. Registration is subject to space and eligibility. Our standard registration fee is $25 for the first business in an event and $15 for a second business in that same event, with a maximum of two businesses per vendor per event. Any event-specific terms shown during registration also apply.
Vendors are expected to prepare their featured-day content, participate throughout the event, interact meaningfully with the community, and promote their own participation. SPOTLIGHT coordinates the event but does not promise traffic, orders, sales, or earnings.
Each vendor is an independent seller responsible for their own product claims, prices, customer communications, orders, payments, shipping or delivery, returns, taxes, and compliance with applicable laws and platform rules. Sharon McCall does not process shoppers' purchases from individual participating vendors merely by hosting an event.
Event changes, cancellations, and refunds
SPOTLIGHT vendor registration fees are generally nonrefundable. A vendor may use the My SPOTLIGHT Bookings dashboard to change an eligible featured sales day within the same event, subject to availability. Requests to transfer a registration to another event, cancel, or request a refund must be handled directly by Sharon at [email protected]. Any exceptions are considered individually, and applicable legal rights remain unaffected.
3. The SPOTLIGHT Circle membership
The SPOTLIGHT Circle is a recurring subscription membership offering training, community, resources, and tools. The current standard options are $37.99 per month or $379.90 per year, unless a different amount is clearly disclosed at checkout. Your selected plan renews and is billed on the schedule disclosed at checkout until canceled.
To cancel a future renewal or ask a billing question, contact [email protected] before your next scheduled renewal. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges when processed before that renewal; it does not automatically refund a previously paid billing period. Access ordinarily continues through the period already paid for, unless a different arrangement or applicable law requires otherwise. Please allow reasonable processing time and keep your cancellation confirmation.
Membership features, call times, and resources may evolve. We will communicate material changes to paid benefits or pricing as appropriate. Membership access is intended for the subscribing member and must not be shared.
4. Physical products: shipping and 30-day returns
Physical products include items such as CARE Content Cards, planners, and bundles. Shipping charges and available delivery options are presented during checkout. Delivery dates are estimates unless specifically guaranteed.
We accept qualifying returns requested within 30 days of delivery. Returned items must be unused, unopened, undamaged, and in their original packaging, in condition suitable for resale. Please email [email protected] with your order information before sending anything back. We will provide return instructions.
For a change-of-mind return, the customer pays return shipping. Original shipping charges are not refundable except when required by law or when we made an error. We do not charge a restocking fee for qualifying returns. Once a return is received and inspected, an approved refund is issued to the original payment method; financial institutions may take additional time to post it.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders
We want to make things right. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us promptly at [email protected], ideally with your order number and photographs showing the issue and packaging. We will work with you on an appropriate replacement, correction, or refund. You will not be charged return shipping to correct our mistake. These provisions do not limit rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
5. Digital products and downloads
Digital tools, downloadable materials, and other electronically delivered purchases are generally not returnable after delivery or access has been provided, except as required by law or where a product is defective or materially different from its description. If you have trouble accessing or using a digital purchase, contact us and we'll work to resolve it.
6. Payments and order confirmation
Payments are processed through third-party payment services. We do not intentionally store full payment-card numbers in our website forms. Prices, taxes where applicable, shipping, and subscription frequency should be reviewed before completing checkout. We reserve the right to correct obvious listing mistakes and will contact you if a correction affects an order.
7. Community conduct and account access
Please treat other members, vendors, and participants respectfully. Spam, harassment, unauthorized solicitation, misrepresentation, and misuse of other people's content or information are not permitted. We may moderate participation or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the community or enforce these terms, consistent with applicable law and any purchased access rights.
8. Intellectual property and outside services
Sharon McCall, SPOTLIGHT branding, the CARE Method™, and our original training and creative materials may be protected by intellectual property rights. No ownership rights transfer when you view or purchase content. Third-party websites, social platforms, membership portals, or tools have their own terms and privacy practices.
9. Liability and applicable law
We strive to provide accurate information and reliable services, but online platforms, availability, and third-party systems can change. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising solely from interrupted access, independent vendor transactions, or reliance on general educational advice. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, United States, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections.
